Blueberry Golf Bash is April 11
The 17th Annual Blueberry Golf Bash produced by the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce is Friday, April 11, at Piney Woods Country Club. Title sponsor is MyPlates.com - Etech, and event co-chairs are Trish Holt, Ambit Energy, and Ben Wright, Texas Farm Products.
"Golfers will be glad to know we are bringing back the Free PL8 Driving Range Contest,” said Sean Kennedy, MyPlates.com, “and they may take two shots to win a free custom license plate."
Deadline to enter teams in the Blueberry Golf Bash is April 4, but early registration gives teams a chance to choose an 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. tee time. Click here to download the registration form or call the chamber at 936-560-5533.
“We are able to offer this tournament to our East Texas golfers with generous sponsors and hard-working volunteers,” Holt said. “This year, Piney Woods Country Club will provide breakfast and a sit-down, indoor evening meal. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will provide lunch. Golfers can enter the Academy Outdoor & Sports Putting Contest. This year, we will see if someone goes home with the Hole-In-One cash prize sponsored by Curtis & Clark Energy Services, or a lucky golfer may win another big ticket item contest sponsored by T-REX-S Outdoor Store - a Ranger(R) 570EFI in Polaris Pursuit Camo.”
The tournament offers more sponsorship opportunities and raises funds that the Nacogdoches County Chamber uses to provide services to members, newcomers and Nacogdoches visitors.
