The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites seniors, however they may define themselves, to a new monthly event aimed at providing a time to gather and enjoy free games. On the third Tuesday of each month, the library will host Games for Seniors, an open forum for card and domino games of any kind. “We’ve had several patrons suggest a game time, and we think there are many people who’d like to get together to play Spades, Gin, or dominoes with peers,” says Crystal Hicks, assistant library director. “The library is the perfect gathering place for groups of all ages, and when there’s a demand, we like to try to fill it.” The first meeting will be Tuesday, September 16th at 2:00 p.m.
