This committee monitors state, local and federal issues that are important to Chamber members and the community. The Chamber hosts Nacogdoches/SFA Day in Austin and the Lone Star Legislative Summit in Nacogdoches and communicates with elected and appointed officials about issues of immediate and future concern.
The Nacogdoches County Chamber believes it is important for business people to be aware of state and national issues that affect free enterprise.
We monitor state issues through our membership in the Texas Association of Business (TAB) and national issues through our membership in the US Chamber of Commerce.
Neither of these organizations, however, have direct ties with the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce, an independent nonprofit organization.
