Quality superior patient care. Nationally recognized healthcare practices. Positive clinical outcomes. Advanced medical technology. These are the key attributes of Nacogdoches Medical Center. Quality is the cornerstone of everything we do, and our track record demonstrates a commitment to excellence since opening in 1975.
In 2014, the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel Readers’ Choice Awards again named Medical Center “Best Hospital,” “Best ER,” and “Best Place to Have a Baby.”
For 39 years, Medical Center’s commitment to quality has set the pace for outstanding innovation in patient care. We were the first East Texas provider of brain lab technology, with a system that offers leading-edge precision in neurosurgery and sinus surgery for better results and improved outcomes.
Medical Center’s Imaging and Cancer Center offers some of the latest digital imaging equipment, providing high quality information while offering shorter and less invasive exams. NMC also provides targeted IMRT therapy treatments that precisely targets cancer cells without harming surrounding tissue.
Our sleep lab offers diagnosis and treatment of an array of sleep disorders. Medical Center also recently completed renovations and the installation of technologically advanced equipment in the hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab and intensive care unit.
The Imaging Center of Nacogdoches, located adjacent to the hospital campus, offers a convenient alternative for outpatient imaging. Featuring the only open MRI in Nacogdoches County, a recently installed 32 slice CT, ultrasound and x-ray services with same day appointments, The Imaging Center caters to the patient’s specific needs.
The Women’s Center at NMC offers quality services at every stage of life, from prenatal care and basic infant care to parenting and digital mammography. In October, NMC was pleased to have the grand opening of its comprehensive Breast Care Center, featuring a spa-like environment to provide a relaxing atmosphere while caring for a wide range of women’s needs.
Medical Center’s latest additions to outpatient services include a wound care center that offers a specialized approach to the treatment of chronic wounds. Opened in late 2013, Medical Center also offers the first hospital-based infusion center in the area, overseen by Nacogdoches’ first board-certified rheumatologist.
Medical Center constantly strives to provide quality patient care, comfort and the convenience of “Big City Medicine, Right Here at Home.”
