Amtrak offers passenger train service to and from Nacogdoches via the Amtrak Bus, which transports and transfers passengers between Houston and Longview. With confirmed reservations, one can board the bus for either city. Amtrak service from Longview continues north to Chicago or west to Dallas, San Antonio and Los Angeles. Amtrak departs from Houston east to New Orleans and west to Los Angeles.
