Makerspace at the Public Library

The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites tweens and teens to get ready for the summer programs with a superhero theme. On Friday, June 19th at 4:00 p.m. there will be a Makerspace workshop on screen printing t-shirts with glow-in-the-dark designs. Those aged 10-17 are encouraged to sign up for a place in the workshop where they will print a superhero symbol and design and decorate a one-of-a-kind t-shirt. The program is free, including materials, but registration is required. For questions, call Crystal Hicks at 936-559-2970.

Wearable Electronics on June 22nd at 5:30 p.m.

Superhero Decoder Glasses on June 29th at 5:30 p.m.

Rube Goldberg Machines on July 16th at 5:00 p.m.

Hula Hoop Weaving on July 30th at 5:30 p.m.

 

Electronics and Soldering on August 10th at 5:30 p.m.
