OPEN SEASON is here and that means ALL tickets currently available for ALL shows of the 2015-2016 Performing Arts Series are on sale, starting Monday August 3rd at 11 am. This will be the third season that tickets for all performances have gone on sale at once. The Angelina Arts Alliance is celebrating 15 years of presenting the very best from the world of performing arts, this season is no exception.
The line-up includes two major Broadway musicals, an Irish dance phenomenon, and an array of award-winning singers and musicians. The 2015-16 Performing Arts Series Sponsors are Georgia – Pacific, and CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial.
“In years past, the non-subscription seats or single tickets would go on sale for each show about 30 days before show date” explained Tracy Pinkerton, executive director, “now, people can make one stop and purchase tickets for two or three shows at once and our patrons love that convenience.” She added, “More and more people give pairs of tickets as gifts or to mark special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries -- this one-stop shopping is a great way to accommodate theatergoers.” The 2015-2016 season includes: JOSEPH and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - a National Broadway tour, Beyond Glory - starring Stephen Lang, The Texas Tenors in Deep in the Heart of Christmas, RIVERDANCE 20 Years – The Anniversary Tour, Rhapsody in Bluegrass – The Annie Moses Band, The Hot Sardines – Joyous Jumpin’ Jazz, and Mamma Mia! - another blockbuster Broadway musical.
