NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS AND VENDORS: All items for sale are required to be locally grown or locally made.
GUIDE: Items are listed alphabetically. New items and categories are in bold.
Things you might find include: gourmet dips, artisan Texas cheeses, home crafted items, free-range eggs, baked goods (breads, cakes, mini cheesecakes, cookies, cupcakes & pies), canned goods (jams & jellies, marmalade, hand-made clothes, preserves, pickled vegetables, salsas & relishes), local raw honey, jewelry, fried pies, plants, soaps (lye and herbal), ribbon cane syrup, fruit wines and wood products.
Local Produce this time of year includes: green beans, fresh unshelled pinto beans, carrots, corn, cucumbers, eggplants, figs, garlic, melons (cantaloupe & honey dew), okra, green onions (purple, white & yellow), fresh shelled purple hull peas, peppers (banana, Bell, jalapeno & Shishito), new potatoes, radishes, squash (yellow, green zucchini & yellow zucchini), tomatoes (cherry, green & red) and watermelons.

#1 Dr. Gregory may or may not be at the market this Saturday. He sells home-made goat cheese from Henderson, smoked Gouda and other artisan cheeses from Waco, artisan Gouda cheese from Farwell, Tex, artisan blue and cheddar cheeses (jalapeno, sharp cheddar and caraway) from Dublin, Texas and cheeses from the Haystack Goat Cheese Company including goat cheese, Camembert, chevre, chili Jack, half cow/half goat cheese and red cloud. Dr Gregory will also be selling Greg Grant's extra large Crinum bulbs, cut flowers, local honey, oregano and starter plants.
#2 Wynn and Pam Havard will be back this Saturday. They sell blueberry syrup, fig jam, jellies (mayhaw, muscadine, blueberry & pepper), mahaw cookies and jelly rolls. In November they planted 100 trees and are looking to expanding this year. Until their trees are producing, all of their mayhaw and muscadine jelly is made from fruit that grows wild. Their blueberry jelly is made from blueberries grown on their son's blueberry farm.
Joyce Goranson won't be at the market this Saturday (She might be back next week). She sells Organic Kamut breads and cookies.
#3 Michel Craig will be selling Mini specialty cheesecakes, assorted cookies, fried pies, fried meat pies, buttermilk pies and various other goodies.
#3 Fred Wharton will be back with organic produce. He will have eggplants and tomatoes (cherry,green & red).
#4 Cheryl Ivie-Harper from Maydelle Country will be selling fruit wines. Their wines are made in small batches and bottled one at a time with the attitude of "If it ain't fun, it ain't right." Their wine list consists of Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Elderberry, Blackberry, Peach, a Pear/Apricot blend (Texas Sunset), pineapple and others that will be rotated by stock. #4 Weda Scholes will be back. She will be selling breads (10 grain honey loaf & rye caraway), free-range eggs and jalapeno jam.
#5 Shannon White/Petalwork will be at the market this Saturday. She makes fresh, fun, and elegant jewelry designs. Natural stones, metals, crystals, glass - all are included in different designs. #6 The Jones family from Texadus Family Farm in Timpson will be selling baked goods, brewed coffee & tea, spice blends, herbal teas, granolas, and LOW SUGAR jellies (blackberry, muscadine and apple). They will have their hand crafted goat's milk soap made from their own goat's milk available (They milk the goats!). Come by and smell them and ask questions. They will also have laundry soap bars and premixed laundry soap powder, lotion bars, chest rub, muscle rub, headache sticks, lip balms, diaper cream, and more. Jacob and Lisa Weems won't be back until next summer. They will be selling fresh figs, fig preserves, and their Fine Southern pickles in 3 flavors.
#7 Kathy McCaffrey will be at the market this week (She is at the market every other week). She sells platinum cucumbers, a variety of fresh herbs, sweet Japanese Shishito peppers, seedlings, squash and Cyprus vines.
#7 LeAnna Scruggs will be at the market this week. She sells unique jewelry (medallions, rings, bracelets, hair clips & other accessories) made from up-cycled spoons, forks and knives.
#8 George and Teresa Millard will be selling basil, lemon cucumbers, eggplants, garlic, melons (cantaloupe & honey dew), okra, onions (purple & yellow), jalapeno peppers, strawberry preserves, yellow squash and tomatoes (cherry, green & red).
#9 Rachel McDowell will be selling home-made earrings & necklaces, apple cakes and pecan pie.
#9 Virginia McDowell will be selling sweet breads (apple, banana nut, blueberry, carrot, jalapeno cheese, cinnamon, cranberry, fig, mandarin orange, lemon-poppy-seed, mango, papaya, peach, peppermint, pumpkin, pear, persimmon, strawberry & zucchini).
#10 Michael Cid with the New Day Baking Company will be serving omelets and pancakes. He will also be selling yard eggs, fresh juices and baked goods at the farmers market made whenever possible of items from the farmers market. The New Day Baking Company is a one of a kind bakery specializing in local, organic, and gluten free products. Their guiding principles are that food should be local and sustainable while still being nutritious and above all delicious.

#12 Gail Riley will be selling her home made breads this week. Roy Tonai and Nancy Andrew won't be at the market for the next week or two. They sell steamed pork bun snack trays, California roll snack trays, brown rice sushi snack trays, vegetarian tamales, and Anko dessert buns.
#13 Cindy Pruett with the Appleby Community Farm will be back. She sells pastured organic eggs, eggplants, cut flowers, herbs and peppers (banana, Bell, jalapeno & Trinidad perfume). Cindy will be taking deposits for pastured organic chicken (limited supply - check website).
