The Solid Foundation Association will host their 5th annual gala called "Lights on Afterschool" which will include a reception and silent auction at 6 p.m. on Nov. 5, followed by a guest speaker, a buffet and live music on at 7 p.m. at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church, 1711 South St. Nacogdoches, Texas 75962.
Tickets for the event are $40 if purchased before the event and are $50 at the door. Tables can be purchased for $350.
The guest speaker will be Chrystal Evans Hurst, author of "Kingdom Woman".
"Chrystal Hurst is an energetic, fun-loving “girl-next-door” who loves to encourage other women in fulfilling their full potential in Christ," according to her website.
The live entertainment will be provided by "Soul Fruit", a band from Tucson, Arizona, who has been around for more than 20 years and "has made the conscious decision to follow the principles of Godliness and carry them out through the interaction of people," according to their website.
