Local Produce this time of year includes: green beans, cucumbers, eggplants, garlic, greens (Asian salad greens, bok choi, collards, kale, mustard, Swiss chard & turnip), lettuce, melons (cantaloupe & honey dew), okra, onions (purple, white & yellow), peanuts, pears, fresh shelled purple hull peas, peppers (banana, Bell & jalapeno), new potatoes, radishes, sorrel, squash (freckles, yellow, patti-pan, green zucchini & yellow zucchini), tomatoes (cherry, green & red), turnips and watermelons.
