Posted 10/16/2015

Both the Stephen F. Austin men’s and women’s basketball teams will be taking the floor of the William R. Johnson Coliseum at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 16 for SFA’s Midnight Madness event to tip-off the 2015-16 campaign. The event is being presented by Citizens 1st Bank and is open to the public.

Those in attendance will have the chance to get their hands on various prizes including iPads, flat-screen televisions and $1,000 in cash for the first lucky fan who can sink a half-court shot.

Fans will get the opportunity to get autographs from as well as mix and mingle with various SFA players and coaches prior to the start of the event and as the night moves along.

The event will be streamed live on ESPN3 and portions of SFA’s Midnight Madness may be shown on ESPNU as part of ESPN’s complete Midnight Madness coverage from around the country.
