The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites children, ages 7-11 years, to a STEAM Lab workshop on Thursday, January 14th at 6:00 p.m. Participants will make exciting parachute toys and uncover the science that makes them work. Participants will try various designs and challenge each other with creative modifications. Please call 559-2970 to register by January 13th.
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library is thrilled to host STEAM lab for children ages 7-11 years. The Public Library’s STEAM lab is the junior program of Makerspace in which participants have the opportunity to develop the basic key skills in design development and ingenuity. The goal of STEAM lab is to promote integrative learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Participants in STEAM lab have the opportunity to explore and take ownership of their own creativity and have fun along the way!
