Point A Media presents check to Chamber Point A Media representatives Angela Wiederhold, Angie Brewer and Michele Peck presented the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors with a royalty check of more than $7,800 during the directors' January meeting.

Point A Media is a 17-year member of the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce. The locally-owned and operated company publishes the Chamber’s Official Nacogdoches Guide & Chamber Directory and the Nacogdoches City/County Official Street Map. Each year, Point A Media also redesigns the Chamber’s website, nacogdoches.org, so the Chamber presents a consistent, coordinated, branded image to the public through the latest digital technology, too.

“The 2016 publications are really special, because they are dedicated to our friend Ab Abernethy. The design theme is centered around a cover photo of the Lanana Creek Trail, which is such an integral, unique part of our community. You can picture Ab on the trail and it is just a pleasure to turn each page with him in mind," said Brewer.

The Chamber uses the funds to operate its welcome center, mail information to newcomers and other programs. The award-winning directory and map are used by Chamber members, visitors, newcomers and long-time Nacogdoches residents.
