The Judy B. McDonald Public Library staff will host a bilingual cooking class on Thursday, February 25th at 5:30 pm. Participants will learn how to make posole, a popular Mexican stew made with either chicken or pork. The library’s version will use pork. The event is for ages 12 years and older and is free but registration is requested. Instructions will be provided in English and Spanish.
“This is an excellent way for people to practice their conversation skills in either English or Spanish. Plus, they’ll get to take home a tasty treat,” said Mercedes Franks, library director.
