Solid Foundation Association is Calling All Golfers for the 4th Annual Swing for the Kids” Tee Time Set for 8:30 am June 4, 2016

It’s time to call out the “Best of the Best” golfers to compete in the Nacogdoches 4th Annual “Swing for the Kids Golf Tournament coming up on June 4th at the Piney Woods Country Club.
The annual fundraiser benefits Solid Foundation Association, an afterschool mentoring and tutoring program for at-risk children and youth in Nacogdoches County. Proceeds from this tournament will support summer enrichment programs for children right here in the City of Nacogdoches.
John Cannings, Executive Director said, “We try to provide positive activities for kids to keep them engaged and off the streets”. Jim Boiles, Event Chairman, also commented, “we not only expect a return of all of the teams from last year but also to attract many new teams from local corporations, churches and other organizations to join us to enjoy the fun and lively competition we offer each year”.
