With Nacogdoches' Tricentennial on our minds, many wonder what the next three hundred years will bring to Texas," Clardy said. "When the 85th Legislature convenes in January 2017, I'm looking forward to more meaningful and productive conversation about who we are and who we want to be as Texans. At the Lone Star Legislative Summit in March, we thoughtfully examined better approaches to  health care delivery, the best ways to educate our children, and how to  generate more opportunities for Texans to better their lives. Now is the time to put our plans into action and for Texas to continue to lead the way."
