Nacogdoches High School (NHS) honors their Teacher of the Month and Staff Member of the Month.The Nacogdoches High School Hospitality Committee has chosen Megan Ivy as the NHS Teacher of the Month for October. Ivy is the NHS Content Mastery teacher and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that Every Student, Every Day is reaching their potential. Ashley McKelvey was selected as the NHS Staff Member of the Month for October. McKelvey, a first-year staff member, is the Teacher Workroom and Substitution Coordinator for NHS. She has done an exceptional job helping the NHS campus run smoothly throughout the school year."NHS would not be the same without these phenomenal professionals," said Dr. O'Guin.NHS Principal Dr. Michael O'Guin presented the recipients with a Certificate of Appreciation and a custom pen created by James Mason, NHS Principles of Manufacturing teacher.
