NACOGDOCHES, TX: The Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched the redesign of its website and is inviting the public, local stakeholders and industry partners to attend the official roll-out on Thursday, Feb. 2. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in the Community Room of Commercial Bank of Texas, located at 215 E. Main Street in downtown.
A representative from Simpleview, the company who designed the website, will be present to walk through the site highlighting key features, functionality and tools available to industry partners to effectively promote their business.
"I'm very excited about the new website and want to encourage the local community to attend to learn more about this valuable resource that's available to them," said Mark Barringer, CVB Board Chairman. "Participation from industry partners will be key as we move forward in our efforts to promote tourism to Nacogdoches," he said.
"Since the soft launch of the website, we've seen an increase of more than 240 percent in traffic to the site," said Sherri Skeeters, CVB Marketing Director. "It's our belief that this will result in more leisure and group business to the city," Skeeters said.
