What is Coaches vs. Cancer?
The American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs.
How can I donate?
Making a contribution to the Coaches vs. Cancer program is easy, and all the proceeds help to fund American Cancer Society programs and services here in East Texas area. Coach Keller is challenging Lumberjack fans to pledge a flat donation for every 3 point shot made by the Lumberjacks.
The minimum amount one can pledge is $1.00 for every 3 point shot made by the Lumberjacks during the Incarnate Word game on Thursday February 9, 2017
