NISD Promotes Head Football Coach to Athletic Director

NACOGDOCHES, May 9, 2017 - NHS Head Football Coach Bobby Reyes will succeed Athletic Director Farshid Niroumand following Niroumand's election to the Board of Trustees on May 6. Niroumand must resign from NISD before being sworn in as an official board member.
Coach Reyes will assume the duties of both head football coach and NHS Athletic Director immediately.
"I have worked with Farshid for years and am honored to be chosen for this position," said coach Reyes. "I wish him the best as a board member."
To assist coach Reyes, an internal job posting has been created for the position of NHS Girl's Athletic Coordinator.
"We want to set our student athletes up for success," said NISD superintendent Sandra Dowdy. "Every decision we make will be with the student athletes' best interests in mind."
