The Nacogdoches Public Library invites kids ages 7-11 to attend STEAM for Kids on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. beginning on June 8th. Summer STEAM for Kids will be devoted to the art of filmmaking. Participants will investigate types of cameras, types of videos, enhancing videos through lighting and sound, and how to edit and share our videos. Each program will have a different lesson so children can participate as they are able.
STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. By offering STEAM classes, the public library strives to provide an environment where children can become engaged in fun, hands-on learning activities in an informal setting. Please call 936-559-2970 to register. The library is on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
