NISD Board Meetings Revised for Time Efficiency

Nacogdoches Independent School District Board of Trustees are revising how regularly scheduled board meetings are done.
Beginning Thursday, June 15th, NISD will begin regularly scheduled board meetings at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will be called to order and board members will quickly convene into closed executive session.
In the future, meetings will start at 5 p.m. with closed executive session.
This rearrangement of agenda items is designed to improve time management of the board meetings. The board will return to open session at 6 p.m. to discuss regular open meeting agenda items.
Public Comment requests can be turned in to the district's Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent Holly Anderson no later than 6 p.m.
