Friday night is opening night for THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB at Lamp-Lite Theatre

This Friday, August 18, is opening night for the heartwarming comedy, THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB, which will be performed the last two weekends in August (Aug 18-21 & Aug 25-27).
Five Southern women (played by Tina Oswald, Linda Licht, Tiffany Gauntt, Lisa Lalumandier and Lisa Norman) whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids & jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives.
THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB is the story of these five unforgettable women over a period of 33 years — a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever. This endearing story was written by the same trio of playwrights who created the hilarious East Texas trailer park comedy, "Doublewide, Texas."
