Discover Chamber's membership benefits, new mentoring program
Members of the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce have the opportunity to learn all of the membership benefits that can build better businesses at the Member Success Orientation, from noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16 at the chamber, 2516 North. St.
"Get to this meeting to fully understand the value of chamber membership," said Scott Waller, chairman of the chamber board of directors. "Members are able to increase their connections and expand their influence in the community and SFASU. Needed resources and strong advocacy are accessible through the chamber. Many of our members need to understand the tools the chamber offers and how to use them to achieve a higher level of success."
In addition to discussing the opportunities the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce provides to all members, a new mentoring program will be introduced.
Waller said that "having an experienced Chamber member team up with a new member is an idea that makes sense. Communication lines are open for new members to better understand the benefits available to them in the Chamber, and for the Chamber to better understand the needs of each business. We can learn from each other to create a better chamber."
Current Nacogdoches County Chamber members are invited to attend the orientation as well as those in business considering chamber membership. There is no charge to attend and lunch is included. Registration is requested by calling the chamber at 936-560-5533.
