The 17th Annual Agriculture Appreciation & Awareness Banquet presented by TFP Nutrition was held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Nacogdoches County Exposition & Civic Center.
Honored at the event were the following 2018 award recipients:
Farm Family of the Year: Gary Stanaland Family (sponsor: Tipton Ford Lincoln)
Agriculture Pioneer Don Parmer (sponsor: Heritage Land Bank)
Agribusiness of the Year: Texas
Ag Educator of the Year: Dr. Craig Morton (sponsor: Citizens 1st Bank)
Young Farmer of the Year: Jason Brown (sponsor: Austin Bank and Pilgrim's Corporation)
Gary and Sue Atkins Agricultural Scholarship Awards were also presented to Nacogdoches County students.
