Dear Nacogdoches Community Members,
Family Weekend, formerly known as Parents Day, is an annual event hosted at Stephen F. Austin State University. It enables family members to visit their SFA student and see for themselves what life as a Lumberjack is like.
During this event, approximately 2,500 family members will visit the university. In addition, these guests venture out into the community to dine, shop and sightsee.
This year, Family Weekend will take place Friday, Sept. 20, through Sunday, Sept. 22. A booklet that provides information about SFA, student organizations and the community will be provided to each registrant. This booklet is a valuable tool to help promote your organization or business through advertisements.
Sponsors are encouraged to offer a percentage discount throughout the weekend to patrons wearing the official Family Weekend T-shirt. The sponsors offering a discount will be listed on a flyer given to parents when they pick up their registration materials.

- Ad designs, and discount option, should be submitted via PDF or JPG (high resolution) format via email to familyweekend@sfasu.edu with “Family Weekend Ad” in the subject line.
- Ads will be printed in full color.
- The dimensions for a full-size ad are 7.5 inches wide by 10 inches high. Half-page ad dimensions are 7.5 inches wide by 4.75 inches high.
- Ad and payment are due Friday, June 21.
