A check for $10,478.59 was presented to the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce board of directors by Point A Media representatives on Jan. 28. The impressive amount was raised solely through advertising placed by chamber members in the 2020 Nacogdoches Guide & Chamber Directory and Nacogdoches City & County Street Map.
Both are published by the agency. The editorial content, the ad information and the listing of chamber members’ businesses make the publications desirable resources for a variety of audiences.
“It’s exciting to get the guide and map in the hands of chamber members, visitors, business prospects, new hires and Stephen F. Austin students and their families,” said Point A Media owner Angela Wiederhold. “The publications circulate locally and travel miles and miles, telling our unique story with an incredible amount of information.”
The funds generated from the publications support the Nacogdoches County Chamber’s programs, and with the new NAC 101 theme for 2020, the guide and map connect people to businesses, services and volunteer opportunities that make a positive impact in Nacogdoches County. “We are grateful for the support of our advertisers who generously support both publications. From small businesses to large business, it takes them all, and they all add up to making these publications a true cooperative effort,” Wiederhold said.
The official Nacogdoches guide and map are available at the chamber. Please call 936-560-5533 or visit the office at 2516 North St. to gather copies to display in business high-traffic areas and distribute throughout the year.
