The Texans Back to Work Task Force convened by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick offers 400-plus recommendations to put Texans back to work.
The state's economy can soon be operating at or near 100 percent capacity, but much of the responsibility for limiting the spread of coronavirus falls on individual Texans, the chairman of Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick's Back to Work task force and TXBIZ's incoming chairman Brint Ryan said, "Personal responsibility ... is crucial for safely reopening the economy."
The task force's 400-plus recommendations range from configuring work places in ways to allow social distancing to waiving myriad regulations facing businesses as they seek to resume operations after weeks of being closed down by government mandate.
