Instead of doing our normal Treats & Beats event this year, we will be implementing an event that is safer during these unusual circumstances.

Instead of having the food component, we are asking that merchants who want to participate submit their favorite dessert recipes to be passed out the week of the event. It will take place the week before tax-free weekend (Aug 3-8) instead of that weekend. These will be printed by the Main Street Department. In order for visitors to get a recipe card, they will have to visit your business.

Please have your recipes submitted to griffinb@ci.nacogdoches.tx.us by July 24th to give us enough time to return them to you for the week of the event.

If any restaurants would like to participate by submitting a coupon (ex. free cookie, free dessert w/ purchase of an entree, etc.) for the week of the event please let me know so I can print those out as well.
