The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce board of directors recently selected the award recipients for the 2020 Gary Justice Business Excellence Awards, the Citizen of the Year and the Non Profit of the Year.

The award recipients are:

• Nacogdoches Floral Company, Small Business of the Year - award sponsored by Commercial Bank of Texas, N.A.
• Manpower Group, Medium Business of the Year - award sponsored by Regions Bank.
• Eaton Cooper Power Systems, Inc., Large Business of the Year - award sponsored by R&K Distributors, Inc.
• Alton Frailey, Citizen of the Year - award sponsored by Tipton Ford Lincoln.
• Love In The Name of Christ, Non Profit of the Year - award sponsored by Charles Pool Real Estate, Inc.

The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce is also awarding County Judge Mike Perry posthumously with a Lifetime Achievement award.

"We are recognizing an elite group of businesses and people who have made numerous contributions in our community and made Nacogdoches a better place to live and work," said Chairman of the Board Claire Robbins. “The Chamber received a record-setting number of nominations for the awards, proving that we are fortunate in having a large number of businesses that are showing their strengths in difficult times. I congratulate the award recipients, and acknowledge all of our nominees for sustaining and supporting our community.

”The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce will release feature articles for the honorees. All award recipients will be recognized at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Membership Banquet sponsored by The Fredonia Hotel and Convention Center. The event date is to be determined.
