Nacogdoches County Chamber honors awards recipients at annual meeting
The Gary Justice Business Excellence Awards, the Citizen of the Year and the Non Profit of the Year will be recognized at the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce 99th Annual Meeting & Membership Banquet. The event will be held at The Fredonia Hotel and Convention Center at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28.
"We are recognizing an elite group of business leaders who have made significant contributions in our community and made Nacogdoches a better place to live and work," said Chairman of the Board Ted Smith. “My fellow Chamber directors are looking forward to this opportunity to applaud their successes publicly.”

The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce is also awarding Judge Mike Perry posthumously with a Lifetime Achievement award.
“Our annual meeting planning committee chair Betty Shinn has led her team during a most unusual time,” said Chamber President/CEO C. Wayne Mitchell. “As usual, Ms. Shinn has developed a wonderful program to recognize the outstanding businesses and individuals in Nacogdoches County. I cannot think of anyone better equipped to plan and execute this great event!”
