Bringing some of the best in cinematic history to Lufkin Media Partners, Raise your hand if you LOVE movies! I’m pretty sure all those hands in the air include your Readers, Followers, Viewers and ALL the folks that count on YOU to keep them informed! Check out the 12 classic, award-winning films coming to the beautiful PINES THEATER in downtown Lufkin starting in January! Then please share with all those that count on you to keep them informed!

With tickets at just $5 each, you don’t have to take out a second mortgage to add popcorn and sodas! Please let me know if you need more information. LUFKIN, TX (December 7, 2021):   Angelina Arts Alliance is thrilled to announce a series dedicated to showcasing some of the best films in cinema history. “The 2022 Pines Classic Film Series” will kick-off on January 14, 2022, with a screening of the western Jeremiah Johnson and continue through December 2022 with one film screening a month. The full 2022 season line-up includes Jeremiah Johnson, The Color Purple, O Brother, Where Art Thou? The Treasure of Sierra Madre, Grease - Sing-a-Long, The Princess, Beetlejuice, Saving Private Ryan, and White Christmas.

All Pines Classic Film Series screenings will take place at 7 p.m. at the Pines Theater. General admission tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased online at www.angelinaarts.org, or by calling the Angelina Arts Box Office at 936.633.5454. Additional classic films and children's films may be added in the coming months.
