LUFKIN, TX (December 7, 2021): Angelina Arts Alliance is thrilled to announce a series dedicated to showcasing some of the best films in cinema history. “The 2022 Pines Classic Film Series” will kick-off on January 14, 2022, with a screening of the western Jeremiah Johnson and continue through December 2022 with one film screening a month. The full 2022 season line-up includes Jeremiah Johnson, The Color Purple, O Brother, Where Art Thou? The Treasure of Sierra Madre, Grease - Sing-a-Long, The Princess, Beetlejuice, Saving Private Ryan, and White Christmas.
All Pines Classic Film Series screenings will take place at 7 p.m. at the Pines Theater. General admission tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased online at www.angelinaarts.org, or by calling the Angelina Arts Box Office at 936.633.5454. Additional classic films and children's films may be added in the coming months.
