Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital has received a four-star rating for safe care by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

CMS is part of the Department of Health and Human Services and assigns star ratings to hospitals across the country in order to help patients make informed decisions about their health care. As part of its mission to provide the public with accurate information about health care quality, CMS has updated the review program to make the ratings more transparent and easier for patients and hospitals to interpret and understand.
