Contact information: Mercedes Franks September 26, 2022 (936) 559-2970 (Nacogdoches, TX) – The Nacogdoches Public Library is pleased to announce that it will offer free public notary services the first and third Tuesday of every month from 12-1pm, except for holidays. State of Texas Notary Public Mary Templeton-Allen from ETX Notary Public will notarize up to three single-seal, single-signer documents per visit.
Examples of documents that can be notarized are advanced directives, acknowledgments, affidavits, designating beneficiary for a financial account, and temporary guardianship agreements. Notary services for loan documents or other documents with multiple seals and signers, blank or incomplete documents, immigration documents by the USCIS, faxed or photocopied signatures, and other documents will not be provided.
To receive services, customers must bring their own original documents requiring notarization along with an unexpired government-issued ID with photo and signature, the signer must express willingness to sign, and the signer must display an awareness of the document and what it represents. Other restrictions may apply. Services are on a first-come, first-served basis. The service will begin October 5th. For more information, please call 936-559-2970.
