Every year, BBB serving the Heart of Texas hosts the Torch Awards for Ethics competition open to all for-profit businesses operating within the 105 Texas counties serviced by the nonprofit organization. The award is given to businesses that demonstrate their dedication to ethical business practices which contribute to a strong business community.
This year, nearly 100 businesses across multiple regions of Texas applied, and six winners were announced on Oct. 28. Businesses were evaluated by a panel of independent business and community leaders across four main dimensions: character, culture, community and customers.
“The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics recognizes companies that go above and beyond in their work with their communities, customers, employees and the marketplace,” said Carrie A. Hurt, president and CEO of Better Business Bureau serving the Heart of Texas. “Winning a Torch Award is more than just a trophy; it is a distinction only given to the most ethical businesses and is the most prestigious business award BBB offers.”
BBB is proud to congratulate the following winners of the 2022 Torch Awards for Ethics:
• RED Development Group (1-10 employee category)
• Clinical Bridges PLLC (11-20 employee category)
• Valor (21-40 employee category)
• Assisting Hands of Fort Worth West (41-60 employee category)
