(Nacogdoches, TX) – NASA’s Driven to Explore Mobile Exhibit trailer will welcome visitors of all ages on February 2nd from 8:30am to 2:00pm at the Nacogdoches Public Library.
According to NASA’s Grayson Taylor, the exhibit is a multimedia experience that immerses visitors in the story of NASA and, specifically, the International Space Station. Guests will learn about the role the space station plays as the centerpiece of human exploration efforts. Among the exhibit items will be a touchable moon rock, astronaut food, mock training astronaut glove and helmet, and a chance for a photo op next to a space suit. The exhibit is free to explore and all ages are welcome.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the Columbia Space Shuttle tragedy. The mobile exhibit is in tandem with the rededication ceremony of Columbia Court at Banita Creek Park on February 1st at 10:00am.
