ANGELINA ARTS ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES 2023-24 SEASON

LUFKIN, TX (June 2, 2023): Celebrating 23 fantastic seasons of presenting world-class entertainment and performing arts in Lufkin, the Angelina Arts Alliance is pleased to announce its upcoming 2023-2024 Temple Theater Performing Arts Series, Discovery Series and Pines Presents Series schedule of performances. The eclectic mix of shows truly has something for everyone to enjoy, from country to jazz, classical to pop, drama to musical, spoken word to circus.

Current season ticket holders can renew their subscriptions now through June 23. New season subscription ticket orders for Temple and The Pines Theaters can be turned in to the box office starting June 2, at 2 pm. New subscription orders will be filled July 3-28 based on availability, and in the order they were received. For more information visit the Angelina Arts box office in person weekdays from 11 AM to 5 PM or by calling 936-633-5454. Single tickets for all shows will go on sale Monday, August 7 at 11 AM.

TEMPLE THEATER PERFORMING ARTS SERIES ROOTS AND BOOTS TOUR Collin Raye, Aaron Tippin and Sammy Kershaw Sunday, October 1, 2023 | 7:30 PM

Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw are three of the biggest names in country music, and they're coming together for the Roots and Boots Tour! This show is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these legendary artists perform some of their biggest hits, including "Workin' Man's Ph.D.," "In This Life," and "Third Rate Romance." JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR Monday, November 13, 2023 | 7:30 PM

Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, this new mesmerizing production of the iconic musical phenomenon returns to the stage! With lyrics and music by EGOT winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. DISCOVERY SERIES

Continuing the commitment to fun and educational family programming for all ages, Angelina Arts is pleased to announce the three outstanding shows coming to Lufkin as part of the Discovery Series. Tickets for performances are $6 for youth (17 years and under) and $11 for adults.

From rock and roll to Christmas holiday hits, One Christmas Night in Memphis has a bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. THE GREAT DUBOIS Friday, April 19, 2024 | 7 PM

Get ready to be dazzled and amazed by The Great DuBois! Featuring two of the most talented and entertaining performers in the show business, the award-winning combination of Michael DuBois and Viktoria Grimmy is guaranteed to keep you entertained and engaged throughout the entire performance. Featuring juggling, hula hoops, aerial stunts, magic and more!
