NACOGDOCHES COUNTY BURN BAN LIFTED

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas– The July 21 burn ban, restricting outdoor burning in the unincorporated area of Nacogdoches County, has been lifted effective immediately by County Judge Greg Sowell.

Officials urge community members who choose to burn items to do so with caution. Residents should not burn in windy conditions and should not leave any fires unattended. Controlled burns can be reported to the non-emergency dispatch line at 559-2607.
