The City of Nacogdoches hosts a Corporate Challenge annually in April, which consists of a month-long series of events. These are team building events designed to promote teamwork, which is important for any successful business. The benefits include increased communication, planning, skills, employee motivation and collaboration.
Corporate Challenge provides fun activities that help people see each other in a different light and allow them to connect in a different setting. The types of events are a range of sports, games and knowledge, including trivia, kickball, washers, mini golf, volleyball, pickleball and more. All the events will be held at different locations in Nacogdoches.
Any company with a Nacogdoches branch is eligible to participate. Registration for Corporate Challenge will begin on February 26th. Companies may register to participate in as many or as few events as they choose, although higher participation provides more of a chance to win. For each event, the top three teams will receive a trophy and the top six will receive points towards the overall trophy. At the conclusion of all the events the top three overall companies will be awarded.
For more information on what events are being offered and how to register contact Joy Palmer, Recreation Supervisor at palmerj@nactx.us or call 936-559-2960.
