Post-Election Outlook: Texas Positioned for Unprecedented Economic Leadership

We are thrilled to report that an overwhelming number of TxBizPAC-endorsed candidates emerged victorious in the recent elections. These outcomes reaffirm Texas’ steadfast commitment to a pro-business agenda and set the stage for unparalleled economic growth, innovation, and opportunity.

State Leadership: Building Momentum for Texas Businesses

Congratulations to all our newly elected leaders at the state level. The upcoming legislative session offers a prime opportunity to collaborate with both new and returning legislators to advance policies that will solidify Texas as the nation's premier destination for business. From streamlining regulations to fostering innovation, Texas is poised to lead the next wave of economic achievement. See full list of TAB-endorsed candidates below this message.

I want to thank Brett Graham, Chairman of TxBizPAC for his leadership. His vision and dedication have been instrumental in promoting candidates who prioritize pro-business policies.

Federal Wins: Strengthening Texas' Influence in Washington

On the national stage, we extend our congratulations to President Donald Trump, Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance, and Senator Ted Cruz.

Senator Cruz’s re-election in particular offers a pivotal moment for Texas and I was honored to be in attendance at his victory party last night with TAB Chairman Massey Villarreal. As a potential chair of the Senate Commerce Committee, Senator Cruz could wield influence over policies impacting 40% of the U.S. economy, with key sectors like trade, technology, transportation, and energy in the spotlight.

Moreover, with Senator John Cornyn potentially stepping into a greater leadership role, Texas would benefit from two powerful champions advocating for pro-business reforms in Washington. Together, their leadership could drive initiatives that streamline infrastructure permitting, reduce regulatory bottlenecks, and expedite critical energy projects, reinforcing Texas’ position as a global leader and economic powerhouse.

The new federal landscape is brimming with potential for Texas. With incoming leadership in Washington committed to rolling back burdensome regulations and fostering pro-business reforms, we anticipate a wave of policy changes that will accelerate economic development. From streamlining infrastructure projects to advancing energy initiatives like Class VI primacy for carbon storage, the stage is set for big wins for Texas.

This environment of regulatory certainty and robust federal advocacy positions Texas to seize new opportunities and drive innovation across key sectors. Businesses will benefit from clearer pathways to growth, and communities across the state will see the positive ripple effects of these pro-business policies.

Why It Matters

With aligned leadership at both state and federal levels, Texas is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this opportunity. We anticipate significant progress on regulatory certainty, expedited project approvals, and pro-growth policies that will allow businesses to thrive. Now is the time for Texas to double down on its successes and lead in continued historic economic achievement.

Looking Ahead

TAB remains committed to advocating for policies that sustain and enhance our state’s economic leadership. We look forward to working with our elected officials and partners to keep Texas at the forefront of innovation, investment, and opportunity.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we’ll drive Texas toward an even brighter economic future.
