House and Senate Committee Assignments Set for the 89th Legislative Session

Today, Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows announced committee assignments for the 89th Texas Legislature, providing a clear road map for TAB and its members to engage elected officials in order to advance our pro-business policy agenda. In the Senate, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick announced committee assignments on January 17th and Texas Senate committee work is already underway.
TAB is ready to work with Governor Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Speaker Burrows, and members of both chambers to ensure the Legislature continues to embrace the pro-Texas, pro-jobs philosophy that has built the best business environment in the nation and the 8th largest economy in the world.
