Nac Historic Sites Hosts Living History of Oak Grove Cemetery
Historic figures of Nacogdoches return to life to share their life stories and tales in the beautiful Oak Grove Cemetery. Join us for Living History of Oak Grove Cemetery Tour on Saturday, April 12th, 10am to 1pm (final tour at 12:40pm). Tour the cemetery and hear the stories from those who made history here in Nacogdoches. Tickets are $10 each (10 and under are free) and can be purchased the day of the event, across from the Oak Grove Cemetery entrance. Tours will begin at 10am and will be every 20 minutes. This event is presented by Friends of Historic Nacogdoches, Inc. and City of Nacogdoches Historic Sites. Proceeds benefit historic preservation in Nacogdoches.

City Staff Attend Texpert Workshop Hosted by Visit Nac
City staff from Nacogdoches Main Street, Nac Historic Sites and Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation were part of a group of people who attended the Texpert workshop on March 25, hosted by Visit Nac. Those in attendance learned tactics and skills to enhance customer service, improve marketing efforts and build a network of local professionals in similar fields.

Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation Adds Teqball Court to Festival Park
Our Parks Department installed our 2nd Teqball Table at Festival Park this week. Our tables (we also have one located at the Clint Dempsey Soccer Complex) were generously donated by USA Teqball. Scan the QR code on the sign next to the tables to watch a "how-to" video.
