The City of Nacogdoches Public Works, Parks and Recreation and Sanitation Departments have collaborated on the hosting of community-focused “Bulk Trash Days” in which residents can sign up to have two large items picked up at their homes or bring them to a drop-off location on the assigned day. This initiative is being made to combat illegal dumping and litter abatement around the city and within public spaces and parks.
Pickup dates are currently scheduled for each Tuesday in May. Residents may register for a pickup or drop-off beginning on April 14 when the registration links will go live. Space is limited to 20 households for curbside pickup and two roll off dumpsters at the Community Drop-off location.
