Nac Historic Sites Presents: A Very Victorian Christmas Dinner
Step into the warmth and wonder of a 19th-century holiday celebration at the Very Victorian Christmas Dinner, hosted by Nacogdoches Historic Sites. This immersive event recreates a traditional Victorian-era Christmas gathering, complete with candlelit dining, live string music, and festive activities.
This year’s event will take place on Friday, December 12th at 6:30 PM at the beautifully decorated Zion Hill Baptist Church, located at 324 North Lanana Street.
The evening will begin with historic holiday beverages and Victorian dance lessons led by the Gobel School of Dance. Inside, attendees will enjoy Christmas crafts and practice gift-making traditions that were popular in the Victorian era. Guests will then gather for a traditional Christmas meal served at one communal table, accompanied by live string music throughout dinner. Guests are strongly encouraged to dress in Victorian-era attire, and the evening will conclude with a Best Dressed Contest celebrating those who embrace the spirit of the era.
Tickets are $50 and are available in-person (cash/check) at Zion Hill or online at eventbrite.com. For more information, visit nactx.us/historicsites or call 936-560-4441
