This information hub provides books, DVDs, audiobooks, eBooks, eAudiobooks and a wide range of tools for mastering new languages. The library also offers a variety of innovative programs such as technology help and training, S.T.E.A.M. and Makerspace workshops for children, adult events for learning, and entertainment. Need to use something like a cake pan, small tools, a telescope or bike repair tools for a special occasion or one-time use? Items like these can be checked out from the Library of Things and returned after use. Cardholders also have borrowing privileges at SFA’s Steen Library.
Nacogdoches Master Gardeners
The Nacogdoches County Master Gardeners are local volunteers in our community who work with the Texas AgriLife Extension Service to share horticultural knowledge and give back to the community through classes, seminars and horticultural projects like the beautiful Demonstration Garden located at the corner of E. Nacogdoches Senior Center

Active residents age 60 and older can get a hot, fresh noon meal prepared by a chef Monday through Friday. The Senior Center also offers free activities and classes to all seniors, including bridge, bingo, 42, dominoes, gardening, sketching, oil painting, yoga, Tai Chi, Functional Fitness, line dancing, knitting, an outdoor walking trail and much more! Come join your neighbors and get active!

SFA infuses the area with many opportunities for further education and cultural exploration as well as volunteer opportunities through organizations such as Friends of Theatre and Friends of the SFA Gardens.
